I am currently working as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in University Hospital Waterford. I graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2005. Following my internship in the AMNCH, Tallaght, I began my basic training in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. I then proceeded to do research and was awarded my Medical Doctorate by University College Cork in the field of Obstetric Ultrasound, titled ‘Obstetric Ultrasound in the Low-Risk Irish Caucasian Population’. During my specialist training, I developed an interest in ambulatory gynaecology and minimal access surgery. I completed my postgraduate training with my CSCST awarded in July 2018. I have published papers in the subjects of maternal medicine, ambulatory gynaecology and medical training.
I am passionate about providing the highest standards of care to my patients both in pregnancy and women’s health. I believe in evidence-based medicine, informed choice and individualised care in providing the best care for all my patients. My practice is in the Gate Lodge Clinic on the grounds of the University Hospital Waterford.
